Initiative #2: Beginning this Fall, offer a congregation-wide opportunity to read the Bible together using lay-led programs like The Path, The Bible Challenge, or The Story – we have several lay volunteers willing to lead the selected program.
ACTIONS

Based on a parish-wide survey, The Path was selected as the program of choice. The Path, 24 key stories from the Bible, can be used in small groups or by individuals. Online and In-Person small groups are meeting on Mondays and Wednesdays. Individuals who are using The Path can take advantage of our small group meeting agendas by clicking on the buttons below. At the end of each chapter, a list of questions for the journey presents an opportunity to wrestle with the biblical text and see what it is saying to you. The questions are an important part of continuing your journey of faith beyond the pages of the Bible, so that you can follow Jesus more closely in your daily life.

We used AI as a tool to research the questions posed in The Path. The results of the AI queries are in red text and are provided to reduce frustration for those folks not comfortable with using technology. We use the queries as a jumping off point for our discussions. You can also listen to the audible journey questions and answers for each chapter (a work in progress).
